TREATMENTS AND TESTS AT OCC EYECARE VAUGHAN
Fundus Autofluorescence Imaging (FAF) is a diagnostic test that uses special wavelengths to photograph the inside of the eye. It provides
information on areas that are unhealthy and likely to deteriorate without treatment.
Fluorescein Angiogram (IVFA) is a procedure in which a chemical based dye is injected into the body. This dye allows the blood vessels to be visible with a special camera. IVFA aids in detecting eye diseases that cannot be observed during a regular retina examination.
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) provides microscopic cross-sectional views of the inner structures of the eye that are not visible during a routine examination.
Laser for Dry Age-related Macular Degeneration We use a modified infrared laser technique that gives improved results compared to the older standard form of this treatment.
Intraocular Injections: We have a wide range of Anti-VEGF Medications for our patients.
